(This started when Ed stated that he would struggle to name any basketball movies. What follows shows you the inner workings of Rippa's brain and this site.)

Basketball movies
Hooisers - Good (I just watched the end of this again yesterday. Of course, Encore is going to beat it into the ground)

White Men Can't Jump - Mostly Bad

Blue Chips - Bad

Eddie - So very very very bad

Space Jam - Hey I enjoyed it

Teen Wolf - I really liked this in the 80s. I just watched parts of it again this weekend. Yeah, the 80s sucked.

He Got Game - Never seen it. Stupid Spike Lee

For Love or Basketball - Yeah, Omar Epps does drive me away from movies. BTW, do you realize that he has been in movies about baseball, football, basketball and boxing. Seriously, I don't think there is anything left? Are they making the Mike Grier story?

The Air Up There - This was so sad. AU actually brought the Giant guy who was the "star" next to Kevin Bacon to campus. They thought it was so great. He might have been Luther Wright for all I know. My degree is worthless.

Above the Rim - Seriously, how did the crazy guy from Onyz not kill Rhea Perlman. That is one think that will always fascinate me.

Celtic Pride - Thankfully, I have never seen this

Forget Paris - This was that Billy Crystal. I think Kareem Abdul Jabber was better playing himself in Airplane.

Whichever Air Bud feature basketball - I am sure this was better than Eddie

There are probably a lot more but I have to go to lunch now.
